Samantha Mohr
Mohr was Mohr was a UGA student and entered her first pageant after being recommended by a close friend. She won Miss Columbus 1985. With this win, Mohr qualified for to compete in Miss Georgia pageant which was staged in June 1985. Mohr received the title of Miss Georgia 1985, on Saturday 22 June 1985. More than $3500 was awarded Mohr's scholarship funds and other prizes. The Miss Georgia was a part of her. Georgia and also made appearances in public across Georgia as part of her tasks. Mohr, Georgia's representative, was also at Miss America 1986, Atlantic City, New Jersey in September 1985. Mohr had a 22-to-1 chance in winning the Miss America title. Computer modelling proved to be successful in forecasting Susan Akin's victory. Mohr didn't make the cut as a top-10 contender for the crown of Miss America. Mohr's time in the role of Miss Georgia lasted until she succeeded her successor Marlesa Ball, Miss Georgia 1986 on June 28th, 1986.
